Mass. mom shares how her son's death turned her into a vaccine advocate

For Kat Alcaide, the memory of her son's death is as painful as it was 13 years ago.

"I was holding him and they pronounced him in my arms," Alcaide said as she fought back tears.

Her son, Brady, was just 2 months old when he died.

"It was one of the hardest moments of my life," she said. "So much goes through your head at that time. Like anger, frustration, confusion, and then mom sets in. How am I going to tell my girls? How are we going to get through this?"
